Normal command (Tools menu)

Select this to cancel any active Editing Tool and place MEGS_Log in "Normal" mode.

When an editing tool is active the shortcut key for Normal mode is Escape.

In Normal mode:

The behaviour of operations in Normal mode that involve inserting units or shifting boundaries depends on the current Insert Mode. Operations that only involve the creation of a single boundary are not affected by the Insert Mode.

See About Editing Tools for more information.
