Select this to cancel any active Editing Tool and place MEGS_Log in "Normal"
mode.
When an editing tool is active the shortcut key for Normal mode is
Escape.
In Normal mode:
Left click and drag a boundary between units to move the boundary.
Double click on a unit to display the Set
Rock Type dialog box, which allows you to change the rock type of a
unit.
Left click within a borehole field while holding down the Alt key to
create a new boundary.
Left click and drag within a borehole field while holding down the Alt key
to create two new boundaries, the lower of which will track the mouse as you
drag.
Right click on a unit to select a unit (if it is not already selected) and
display the Borehole popup menu, which contains
common borehole editing commands.
The behaviour of operations in Normal mode that involve inserting units or
shifting boundaries depends on the current
Insert Mode. Operations that only
involve the creation of a single boundary are not affected by the Insert
Mode.
