How to view geophysical traces

  1. Choose the Open Trace command on the File menu or use the Open Trace toolbar icon (Open Trace toolbar icon)
  2. Within the Open Trace dialog box navigate to the folder that contains the trace file and choose the file.
  3. Traces from the selected file will be shown according to some defaults set in the MEGS_Log config file. To change the colour or field of a particular trace you can right click on the trace and then choose the Set Colour command or the Set Column respectively.

Alternatively the Trace Manager, accessible under the File menu, can be used to open trace files and customise the appearance of each trace.
