Copy command

Use this command to copy the current interval or borehole to the clipboard.

You can use the Ctrl-C or Ctrl-Insert keys as shortcuts for this command.

MEGS_Log will copy the current selection to the clipboard as an image. You may then be able to use the Paste command in other applications to display that image.

If a single unit is copied to the clipboard, then you will be able to use the Paste or Paste Special commands within MEGS_Log to transfer the data from the copied unit to another unit.

In addition, if a single unit is copied to the clipboard and that unit is not interbedded, then you can selectively transfer fields from the copied unit to other non-interbedded units using the Paste Special command within MEGS_Log.

Copying images of a borehole or units

The image copied to the clipboard uses the current MEGS_Log display options, such as scale and font sizes. You can change MEGS_Log display options using the Options dialog box.

If a borehole field is selected (so only the borehole title is highlighted) then the image copied is the content of the borehole field as seen in the MEGS_Log display.

If one or more individual units are selected then a image of the borehole that includes all units spanned by the selection is copied to the clipboard.
