About Us
MEGMS was established by Marianne Harvey in early 2007, the business being based on the purchase of the geological modelling and associated computing activities of Rod Davis' highly regarded MEGS consultancy group.

Marianne Harvey, Principal Geological Consultant of MEGMS, is a geology graduate of James Cook University of North Queensland. She has 20 years of diverse experience in regional exploration and open pit/underground mining in both minerals and coal.
Marianne has specialist skills in geological and resource modelling of coal and base metal deposits in exploration, feasibility and operational environments.
Consulting work is undertaken by Marianne on clients' sites, or in-house using MEGMS own software licences and supporting hardware. Marianne also has experience in the quantification of geological uncertainty in coal resource estimation, and the application of geostatistics for quality/grade prediction.
Marianne has a solid understanding of mine planning practices from her time in mine geology roles. She also has experience in implementing new systems at sites, and particularly enjoys helping planning teams to get the best out of their geological data.
